NAIADS – Nymphs of fresh water, spring water, rivers, lakes, fountains and waterfalls.
Their name in Greek means “to flow”.
The Naiads are endowed with the ability to foresee the future, to prophesy and to heal the wounded and the sick.
Not all of them were immortal, but generally all of them were very long-lived.
They could cure the sick by making them drink water from the springs, or by immersing them.
